This year, 2018, the Chinese New Year celebrates the Year of the Dog.

The dog is the eleventh sign in the Chinese Zodiac chart and symbolizes loyalty and fidelity. As most cultures believe, the dog is a trusted and true friend.
The Chinese believe that it is an omen of impending wealth if an errant dog follows you home.

Those born under this sign tend to make great friends. They are loyal and always there when you need them. They keep their anxiety hidden and provide only the best advice and assistance to their friends. They are tenacious and do not relent.

Loyalty, attention to detail, highly moral and obedient are some of the dogs’ best traits and lead to some wonderful careers as a judge, nurse, politician, scientist and police officer.

Roosters are most compatible with the tiger, horse and mostly the rabbit, and least compatible with the goat, ox and dragon.

Some public figures born under the sign of the monkey are: Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Madonna, Mother Teresa, Winston Churchill, Steven Spielberg, and Elvis Presley.
